Letter from the AACW to the people of Christ Church, Accokeek (03/29/01), regarding the refusal of Bishop Dixon to accept the election of Fr. Samuel Edwards as Rector, with letters from other congregations documenting similar diocesan interference. 

“These documents cite specific instances where these people believe their parishes were denied the canonical right to call a priest of their own choosing because of pressure tactics from the diocese.”
